Diddy Dragons New 'Roarsome Rewards'
There is something very special about watching a little one proudly hold up a certificate. It might look simple, but to a Diddy Dragon it means, “I came back, I joined in, and I did it.”
We have recently introduced our Roarsome Rewards to our Diddy Dragons classes, and the response has been wonderful. The children have taken to it straight away. They love collecting their stamps, checking their cards, and counting how many sessions are left until their next reward.
Best of all, we are already seeing our first Diddys receive their awards. The smiles have been huge, the pride has been clear, and choosing a prize has become a very exciting moment at the end of their little journey.
How the Roarsome Rewards work
The idea is simple, which is exactly why the children understand it and enjoy it.
Each Diddy Dragon receives a loyalty card. Every time they come to a session, they get one stamp on their card. Once they have collected 10 stamps, they receive:
A certificate of achievement
A medal
A prize of their choice
Then the fun starts all over again. For every 10 sessions they attend, they can earn a new certificate, another medal, and another prize.
This gives them something to look forward to each week. It also gives them a lovely way to see their own progress. For younger children, 10 sessions can feel like a big achievement, and it really is. They have shown up, taken part, practiced, played, listened, learned, and grown in confidence.
Celebrating our first award winners
Our first Diddys have now started receiving their awards, and it has been such a joy to watch.
There is always a lovely buzz when a child reaches their 10th stamp. They know something special is about to happen. Their certificate is presented, their medal is given, and then comes one of the most exciting parts, choosing a prize.
And yes, the smiles have been absolutely brilliant.
Encouraging regular attendance in a positive way
One of the best parts of the new reward system is seeing our regular Diddys come back each week, excited to collect their next stamp.
Regular attendance can make a big difference in children’s classes. The more often children attend, the more familiar the environment becomes. They get to know the routines, the leaders, and the other children. Over time, that can help them feel more settled and ready to take part.
The loyalty card gives them another reason to feel excited about returning. It adds a little extra sparkle to the week without putting pressure on them. The focus stays on fun, confidence, and celebrating effort.

The Roarsome Rewards do not stop after the first certificate.
Once a Diddy has collected 10 stamps and received their award, they can start working towards the next one. That means every block of 10 sessions brings a fresh celebration.
This keeps the scheme exciting for children who attend regularly. They know there is always another goal to work towards, another certificate to earn, and another prize to choose.
It also lets us celebrate progress again and again. Children grow so much over time, and each set of 10 sessions can mark a new stage in their Diddy Dragons journey. They might become more confident joining in. They might try something they were unsure about before. They might make new friends, listen more closely, or simply feel happier coming into class.
Those achievements deserve to be noticed.
