Back in March we held our annual invitational competition, Deeside Sets at our gym. It was a hugely successful event with over 200 gymnasts competing across the weekend. The theme of the competition was unicorns and sparkles The gymnasts had lots of fun with the theme and were super creative making their numbers. Here are just a few of them...
We went all out with the theme and decorated the gym with lots of unicorns and sparkles. We had balloons, ribbons, photo booths, unicorn trophies, sparkly medals and plenty more. The coaches and judges got involved by dressing up too. It was a super fun and friendly competition for all.
Many of our own gymnasts took part in the competition from our littlest 2013 gymnasts up to our 13+ girls. We achieved some fantastic results across all the age groups and levels. A big well done to all our gymnasts and coaches for working super hard on these routines. Thank you to our judges and volunteers for giving up their time to help us out with the competition, we really appreciate it.
It was a hugely successful weekend and we had some great feedback from the clubs that attended. The gymnasts had lots of fun at the competition and loved their medals and gifts. Thank you to everyone for coming and making it such a fabulous competition. We hope to see you all again next year!
