In our last blog post we wished our national level gymnasts a big good luck in their Welsh Finals after their successful North Area competition. Last weekend the girls travelled to Cardiff to compete in the Welsh Out of Age Level 4 and 3 Championships, at the National Sports Centre.
The girls have been working extremely hard in the gym, improving and upgrading their routines to prepare for the competition. Their hard work and dedication was reflected in their performance, with some fantastic routines and new skills competed by all. There may have been a few silly mistakes along the way, but the girls held their heads high throughout the competition, and carried on fighting even when it went wrong. Their hard work and determination lead them to achieve some of the best results Deeside has ever had in a Welsh Finals at this level!

Congratulations to coach Clare on these fantastic results! Clare said she was "absolutely over the moon with the performances and results." "I'm so proud of the hard working and dedicated gymnasts they've become. Each one of them performed new skills and the progression from last year has just been amazing. I really can't put into words how proud and happy i am for each one of them."
