Derbyshire Open

Last weekend some of our development gymnasts travelled to Derbyshire to compete in the DGA Open at Amber Valley gymnastics.

The theme of the competition was the 'Wild West' and our gymnasts had plenty of fun making some fabulous posters and dressing up!

It was a fantastic experience for our little gymnasts and there were lots of individual goals achieved. From competing away for the first time to getting back up when things went wrong. These are all very valuable lessons and we were super proud of how they all performed and presented themselves.

They had all worked really hard on new skills and put together new routines for this competition and it definitely showed on the day.

A special congratulations to Peyton who took the silver medal on floor in the Tin 8 years category and to the girls in the 'pre comp' section who received a medal based on their overall score.
