North Wales Prelims was another fantastic competition for Deeside. A few of our competitive groups took part, but it was also the first time for boys gymnasts to compete.
Toby, Charlie and Isaac from our boys only class had been practicing for just 8 weeks to compete in their first ever gymnastics competition. The boys and their coach Clare had been working super hard on their routines and were ready to show off their new skills.
The boys had a fantastic competition and came away with some amazing results with Toby and Isaac placing 3rd overall in their age groups, and Charlie becoming the overall champion in his category. We are very proud of the boys in their first competition. Lots of exciting times ahead for our male gymnasts! Well done boys!
Also a big well done to Morgan and Katie’s girls who competed in the prelims. More amazing results. Lots of medals, ribbons and even awards for the best posters. Well done to all our gymnasts! Your coaches are super proud of you!
